Information and Activities

Blessed Imelda School was founded by the priest of the Holy Rosary Province of the Order of Preachers in 1916. It is the first Catholic Girls’ School in Taiwan. Its mission is to provide a Catholic education molding its students to a profound knowledge and a well-balanced personality with an emphasis not only on academic excellence but also on moral development.

BIS is designated by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan for teaching high quality English instruction, with emphasis on globalization, the integration of computer technology in teaching, foreign language learning, and fostering cultural exchange through its International exchange program.
